Pureland Limited is the manufacturing associate of Aotea Gifts. Through this close relationship Pureland has direct knowledge of customer demand and product expectations for domestic New Zealand customers and international customers. 

We research and then manufacture products we know will be in demand. All Pureland products are made in New Zealand. 

New Zealand manufacturing and exporting of natural fibres by Peter Hanson, predated and facilitated the establishment of Aotea Gifts in 1979. In the period 1979 – 2009 manufacturing of tourism focused New Zealand goods was an internal component of the Aotea Gifts operations.

Pureland Limited has been operating as a separate entity to manufacture and wholesale of New Zealand made products since 2010. 

The company remains owned by Hanson family interests and is now operated by Richard and Donald Hanson.
